Flush Roof Rails 2025 Sportage and Yakima Cross Bars
I am installing Yakima FX towers and crossbars on my flush roof rails (2025 Sportage). Yakima instructions say to place the front crossbar just 17" back from the windshield. When I place my 16 cu ft SkyBox (6'3" long) on the crossbars it sticks out over the windshield. I am told is a poor aerodynamic position for noise, wind buffeting etc. My understanding is that the entire length of the flush bars is supportive and there is a lot of room to move the cross bars back 6" or 12" without interfering with the hatch. Also, the cargo box and crossbars are limited to 60 lbs which is well below the roof limit of the sportage.
Does anyone have any information to share concerning crossbar placement on the flush rails.

Blocked washer fluid pipe to rear on sportage mk4
Ive replaced front and rear nozzles fronts are fine rear isnt working due to blocked pipe tried an air line from rear still blocked any ideas thanks peeps

U1111 error code on 2015 sportage AWD
i have a 2015 AWD sportage which after we fixed the B camshaft timing error, U1111 appears on the scanner and mechanic is having a hard time fixing it. even the idling is still rough , brake is hard as no vacuum after the replacement of the camshaft phaser on both intake and exhaust. What could still be the possible issue of the rough idling with stiff brake pedal and the U1111 error code that keeps on appearing after the ECU reset. Could somebody help me on this? Thanks
TPMS Possible Malfunction 2025
My TPMS is showing my left front tire as being underinflated. At first I thought it was due to very cold weather, but it still kept flashing after driving. I put air in the tire to match the other front tire (29-30 psi). However, it still keeps flashing even after driving for 20-30 minutes. Is there a reset I can try or do I have to bring it to the dealer? Purchase date is 8/2/25 SX Prestige. Thank you

RATTLE INSIDE DASH
I have a '24 Sportage X-line PHEV. When I get up to 50 mph or so, I can detect a constant rattle that sounds like it is coming from either over the monitor or the glove box. It is soft, but annoying. I have pulled everything out and the sound is definitely inside the dash.

2026 Gauge Cluster Configurable?
I'm looking at the 2026 Sportage Hybrid. I have noticed all the pics of the LCD gauge cluster have lost the traditional circular speedometer and circular tach look and have a default look like an octagon or hockey stick shape outline for both the speedometer and tach. Can you configure the gauges back to circles in the menu system?

2026 Hybrid Sportage SX - Phone Mount recommendations?
Would anyone have a recommendation for a phone mount / holder for the 2026 Sportage SX model? I've bought 3 vent ones so far and none have long enough hooks to reach the rear of the vent. Any assistance with photos or links would be appreciated. This is the interior dash of my current Kia.
Not Going To Be Here For A While

Parking Safety Light
Another issue just noticed today, the parking safety light was on. Turned it off and it kept coming back on while driving down the road at 45mph.
This is the button on the top right next to the driving mode knob.
The local dealer salesman said this is normal. Hard to believe we just noticed it.

Have a 2024 Kia Sportage Hybrid Prestige.
The power distribution grid popped up today and is doing something we haven’t noticed in 17 months we have had the car.
Stopped at a local dealer and talked to a salesman and he said this is normal. Surprised we never noticed it.

2026 SX Prestige Hybrid, 1.6l Turbo, What is the consensus on oil changes with small turbo engines?
Many mechanics indicate oil changes should occur more often, 3k to 5k miles, due to high temperatures in small engine turbos?
Any consensus on this?

Kia Sportage 2026 frequent camera obscured driver assistance required
I have a new Kia Sportage self charging hybrid 2026 version had for 4 weeks, I keep getting driver assistance required front camera obscured understand if it’s cold and icy also first thing in the morning or raining but after wiping with a cloth etc., it does not seem to clear the warning.
I can sometimes clear the warning using the ok button but when I stop for whatever reason and start the car again the fault comes up again
Any suggestions best cleaning methods or is it a fault

2026 Sportage wiring harness for trailer
I have a new 2026 Sportage SX Prestige. I purchased a trailer hitch and wiring harness from etrailer.com to pull my kayak trailer. The hitch is installed but the installer (on the etrailer.com recommended list) says the wiring harness diagram for the 2026 Sportage is not yet available so they can'y do the install. My Kia dealer and etrailer.com don't not have it either. I used the contact us link at kia.com and got a response from Kia Customer Care. They instructed me to go to kiatechinfo.com to find the diagram. However, it is a paid subscription service. $19 for 72 hrs, $150 for one month, and $1500 for a year. this might be okay for a business but it seems outrageous to me as the owner of the car. Any thoughts? Anyone know somewhere else I might find the 2026 wiring diagram?
