thanx, the light on your stays on? Mine does. If that light on the stick wasn't on I wouldn't know it was drawing electricity from the battery. It's really looks nice though (the light)
Modern automobiles have so many phantom loads, keeping the USB drive plugged in will be an insignificant addition. I have used USBs with audio recordings in vehicles for close to 20 years and have never unplugged them.
