What did you pay for your new new Kia Sportage?
I just bought my 2025 Hybrid SXP for $40,500 OTD in NC. Is that good/bad/indifferent? Loving it so far!

Of course, but what did you pay for taxes? We don't have sales tax here, so to me it sounds like you paid a LOT! Is yours an ICE, HEV or PHEV? If an ICE, you paid even more. Options? Were state registration fees included in OTD? The OTD price means nothing comparatively without more info. So that's why its more useful to just state your base cost relative to MSRP. Just traded my 4-year old F350 diesel for the Sportage Hybrid SX-P.
3 days before year end seems to have made a difference.
The trade deal was so-so at $56k (KBB was average 57k) but I demanded a payout of $17k, resulting in a discount for the new car of $1,700 from MSRP.
I tried 5 dealerships in 100 mile radius and only one had the requested color combination anyway.
So I guess I should be satisfied.

Just purchased a 2025 Sportage X-PRO AWD sticker $38,500 (before taxes, fees etc) First time in my 77 years on earth and having purchased a lot of veihicles I did it fully on the internet without leaving the house. LOL. Picking it up tomorrow. Kia has a $2000 rebate on this model if you finance through Kia financing ending on Jan 2 (and $1500 on other trims). I paid $39,500 out the door including all the absurd dealer fees, sales tax, tags & title and other crap they charge. I guess they are getting ready for the new design 2026 due out in a few months. Going to finance about $25K then immediatelp pay it off after first payment. Dealer won't be happy and "early prepayment fees" are against the law here in FL. Did the same back in 2020 on my Kia SOul.
Bought my 23 EX FWD 2.5l (NA) for $29k out the door with extended warrantee on electronics (sticker was $31k)

Just purchased 2025 Sportage Hybrid SX Prestige. Contact me if you are in Phoenix area for details. Paid $41,500 OTD. (~700 under MSRP). To me comparison shopping only works if you are in same area of country. Also matters if purchase includes/excludes protection packages and dealer add/owe accessories not reflected on MSRP sticker.

Yes, same here w/white pearl SX. I think all the black trim everywhere is what really helps it pop and helps show off all the swoopy lines. Looks like something a storm trooper would drive!

I can believe if they gave you dealer discount to compensate you for admin, tax, etc. But I’m willing to bet that your itemized sales sheet still shows non-zero value for tax, admin/title, etc.

I just (03/25) received an offer from a dealer near Atlanta to buy a 2025 Hybrid EX in white color with a premium package for $1450 below MSRP. I'm paying $35,205 plus tax and fees. I bought a 2025 Sportage Hybrid EX with moon roof a few weeks ago for $36,000 OTD in MD. The base price was about $32,500, then sales tax, tag, dealer processing fees, etc. The base price on the purchase paper was probably made up but I really didn't care. I capped the OTD price and the dealer can write whatever on paper as they wanted. In order to buy at that price which was supposedly discounted, I had to use a 3rd party bank that provides car loan instead of KIA Finance which couldn't provide as much price discount. I can pay off the loan quickly after purchase without prepay penalty so I didn't care who was the lender, nor the interest rate, as long as there is no prepayment penalty.
As for the vehicle itself, power seems to be moderate; body roll is acceptable; feels like a heavy vehicle than it is; can hear some wind noise on highway (with two cross-bar on top installed); the center screen looks nice, but it's somewhat annoying: almost everything is on a touch screen (very few physical buttons), the touch screen is very sensitive - even if your fingers happen to very lightly brush it by accident, it triggers a touch screen function. mileage wise, I got about 34.5 miles/gallon for the first 1000 miles also. Overall, no big complaints.

No trade in.
It has 780 miles on it after 4 months owning it (I own another car) and it shows the front parking sensors stopped working. Not feeling good reading about the prospects of it getting fixed under warranty because I read that they always say it's a rock hit. Should I worry?

Living in a very sunny and hot area we’ve only had white cars for 40 yrs. It’s the only color you can put your flat hand on in the sun here which translates into a much cooler interior. The black glass roof (my wife’s choice) is a big heat generator though.same color as mine, never thought I'd own a white car but this "pearl" really pops, cleans up pearly good
