Working on the car apparently drained the battery enough to cause complete shutdown. Nothing worked, no lights on, wouldn’t start etc. Thought I would have to put it on a battery charger. No, the 2024 Sportage Hybrid has a safety feature to shut things down if there is a battery drain while the car is not moving.
There is a reset button on the left side next to the steering wheel on the dash and you simply push it and the car wakes up.
