Two weeks ago I had my mechanic put in the Valvoline Restore & Protect oil into my Theta II 2.4L GDI engine and I'm already starting to notice a slight change. The engine seems to be running much smoother and quieter. I do use premium fuels from either Shell which is my preference, or BP. Going to be keeping a close eye on the color of the oil and as soon as it becomes black, even before the 3000 mile mark I'll have the second oil change done. Valvoline recommends three oil change cycles.
