Driving in eco, on both highway (70-75 mph) and back roads, I’m getting the advertised 38+ mpg with 522 miles so far. Which I’m amazed at. Although, I have been playing quite a bit with trying to keep it in EV which may end eventually (similar to stopping parking far away from everyone at the supermarket).

MPG will get even better after 3K+ miles, but will get worse again if/when cold weather hits.

Sounds like you don’t have the hybrid? MPG is opposite - ICE gets better highway mileage, hybrid gets better city mileage.
