That's what the canbus decoder doesI'm not an electrician by any stretch of the imagination, but since LED's use reduced voltage, wouldn't you need some sort of resistor wired in to compensate for the difference that the computer is used to seeing?
What's the difference? I'm used to working on older cars, all this computer stuff is confusing, but I'm trying to learn as i go.Sounds like the decoders don't work with the system. Use load resistors to trick the system into thinking they are still halogen bulbs.
Thank you I'll give them a tryNot sure of the difference, but in my Sorento, I had to use load resistors to make them work and I had the same problem before the resistors. The passenger side wouldn't work. I never tore the BCM apart to see the internals, nor did i care to since I figured out the problem. I can't guarantee this will take care of it for you, but it did for me on a 2016 Sorento.
