Why don't you use the kia app? You can start it from the other side of the world if you want then.

I understand that. ? is, why a key remote that must be within 33ft. Doesn't make common sense.

Have never had one that could.. you can't put a high power transmitter in one of these key fobs running off 5 volts

I'm still going to give my 2 cents to the dealer. Start my car on Kia app from Europe, but, remote key is worthless in western PA winter. Engineering fluke without thought because some people think it's Kool to use your phone, hogwash!

I think your options are: you can pony up $149/yr for Kia Connect Plus to remote start from your phone, or get a generic remote starter installed that includes a stronger transmitter.

We all have wish lists for our cars. I wish my 2023 had memory mirrors! At least you probably have that? If so, I'll get a remote starter installed in mine and we can trade?
