Disable Lane Keep Assist in the 2023 Kia Sportage without having to repeat the process for each new drive.

I have a 2024 Sportage HEV and I turned the lane assist off after the first week. I left the warning on and haven't really noticed it since.

you can also just push and hold the button on the steering wheel

But that does not switch it off permanently does it?

On my 2023 EX HEV, going through the menus like I outlined just above has turned it off permanently. I am not sure about the button on the steering wheel.
