hello. first post here. I have searched everywhere yet can not find an answer.
I am trying to change my transmission fluid. I have nearly 60,000 miles and the transmission recently started slipping.I have been using the paddle shifters for a week now, and I don't like it at all.

My question is WHERE THE HECK IS THE FILL HOLE? I have seen videos but none of them are anout the 2023 hybrid ex. it is very frustrating. I can not see it anywhere and the engine layout is completely different than any of the videois show. Can someone please give a a solid answer. Not "it's somewhere under those hoses." That will not work apparently. if anyone can take a photo zoomed all the way out then zoomed in so i can actually see where I am supposed to be searching would be absolutely amazing. Please help me. Thanks in advance.

FOUND IT!!! if anyone else has issues finding it.... it is in about the most inconvenient place possible. directly under where the orange wire harness's criss cross just to the right of where the coolant hoses criscross about 12" down

Wow, be careful. I just read the book on my hybrid sportage and they caution about any water or fluid spills on those orange HV cables. I don't plan on doing any self-maintenance on mine during the warranty period. The dealer does give 2 free oil changes so that's 1 year. I hope they don't jack up the price for tire rotations . Good luck and stay safe.

yeah, I traded in a 2016 optima (wife's) and you had to remove 3 parts of the air system to see the trans fill port (that round peg with square insert for socket removal). Anyway, drained 3 3/4 qts and filled via that port on the top. Used a funnel and it burped so it took 30 to 45 minutes so you don't spill it. Now I bought a 2026 sportage prestige and the fill port is right under a radiator hose. I'll have to move it some and take out the port plastic closure/bolt and then add via a hose/pump from quart bottle of trans fluid. With it open and air able to flow out with fluid going in, might go faster for the addition. It has 600 miles so I have time. I changed the optima a few times (had 55.5K traded in) but my 2015 rav that I just traded in (125K miles), I changed that fluid about 31 times and filter twice (way easier than the kias). So, next spring/fall, I'll change the sportage and hope all goes well. Wonder if anyone knows how much flows out on a drain only??? (somewheres between 3 and 4 qts is what I've read but probably closer to 4 qts.
