First oil change dealer over filled our hybrid 1.6 L (2025) way over on dip stick. I had them remove a quart.
Second oil change same thing . Dealer told me dipstick was off and Kia says it takes 6.1 quarts so that’s what they put in .
When we purchased a car of the dipstick was spot on. (At top full mark)
Google, I could read 4.6 quarts 5.1 quarts and 6.1 quarts.
Hard to believe a 1.6 L will take 6.1 quarts hard to believe the dipstick could be off.
Dealership says I’m wrong and I should leave it over full.
Does anybody have a file on official oil capacity so I can show them.
Has anybody else experienced this?
