Lane departure system is there an option to just have the sound in lieu of sound and driver assisted ?
 
If you are talking about the "LKA" - Lane Keep Assist - vs the LFollowA (great for highway driving), I have mine completely turned off. You should be able to find it in the settings.

yeah, just bought a 2026 sportage prestige and we turned the lane assist off too (and in my new Rav 4 also). don't like the car moving over for me.
 
My son likes that feature on his, but if it was mine, I'd turn it off too. I want to be in control of my car, not some electronic piece that I have no confidence in.
