Anti Theft Software Update Affecting BCM and Park gear release

Body Control Module (BCM) is likely damaged after dealership installed anti-theft update. Car is stuck in Park but all other functions appear fine. Model year 2016 without remote start and it has a physical key on the FOB. Anyone else experiencing similar issues?
