Automatic Updates

How many hours should this last and if the answer is more than 1, what do I need to do to get it jump started or whatever?

Just let it run in the background. I just picked mine up in April and it’s had 5 updates. The installs are about 20 minutes.

Let it do it. It is only updating software. Takes negligible power. Worst that can happen is that the infotainment system may not be usable for 20 minutes during update.
