How to run it in gas mode stuck out in the mountains and no place to charge

I had to take a road trip across Midwest and now going through the mountains and had to stop and charge. Now we ran into snow and the traction isn’t great. How do you switch to just run off of gasoline? Put it in sport mode and it’s not charging up much, assuming it’s because of the steep hills. Thank you very much for any help. It’s a Kia Sportage 2024 plug in hybrid

The snow mode will also help keep the wheels from spinning in the snow. Starts the tranny out in 2nd gear, instead of 1st. The 4WD button will lock all 4 wheels together for best traction, but only works at slow speeds and shouldn’t be used when pavement isn’t slippery.
