Seat Tear in 2024 Sportage SX Prestige

Hi:

Wondering if anyone is having problems with seat tearing in the Sportage SX Prestige ? I have 15000 miles and the passenger seat has developed a tear at the seam. The dealership is refusing to replace the seat cover claiming that I damaged it which is untrue and Kia customer service has also denied the claim. Starting to regret my purchase.

arghhhh, need to go out and have a look at mine, not good, maybe not too costly of a fix

I have a 2023 Sportage with 18000 miles that has not only developed a tear in the drivers seats but also has a seam that is starting to split. The dealership is saying the same as OP, that I damaged it. Not true!!!
