OK to leave that USB stick in when car is parked for 2 days or so? Kind of seems not worth the risk of destroying the recordings vs the taking out? I did 15 CD's to a stick by a local computer pro, everything went great, time to take another 10 CD's to him. "How far we've come", Virginia Slims and 8-track albums to vaping and a stick that holds dozens of high quality recordings.

I’ve left mine in for years without any trouble.
 
thanx, the light on your stays on? Mine does. If that light on the stick wasn't on I wouldn't know it was drawing electricity from the battery. It's really looks nice though (the light)
