Hello all, new '24 just brought home. Curious what accessories other owners may be using. Anyone using a bug shield. or the side running boards. I'm concerned mostly about stones and such on the front end and door dings on the side. So far love it, Thanx

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. I'm glad you found us. Congratulations on your brand new Kia Sportage! :) What did the Sportage replace for you? What's types of accessories are you looking for? I know of black emblem overlays and things like wheel center cap overlays to change-up the way things look...

There are several door protectors vendors I've found so far. The first accessory I added was the HomeLink mirror. Ran about $630 to have the dealer install it:

I haven’t heard very good things about the running boards. I think people get the front exposed hood and panels clear “wrapped”? I can vouch for the HomeLink mirror. Cost me $500 installed, so great if you can find one on a window sticker @$350. Tuxmat floor protectors are great. And check Amazon or eBay for very nice center console and door arm rest overlays. All that shiny piano black trim gets old quick!

manno lovin this car, time will tell but right now I have to say it's the best driving auto I've ever...
you get it, inside center console insert added, waiting for mud flaps to come in, I really like those side door protectors, just wondering on their durability? Thanx all

Hey, congrats on the new '24! For keeping that front end safe, a bug shield is a solid call—really helps with stones and bugs if you’re doing a lot of highway driving. And yeah, side running boards are awesome for blocking door dings and make it easier getting in and out too. Mud flaps might be worth a look too if you wanna keep rocks and dirt off the paint. Oh, and if you didn’t get the window sticker from the dealer, you can grab one online. I picked mine up through DVH, just search “window sticker by DVH” to find it. Shows all the original stuff, super handy. I hope it helps.

What accessories did you end up getting for your car?

I just picked up my 2025 Sportage Hybrid SX Prestige this week.

I plan to get the following:
-All weather floor mats
-Dash mat
-Roof rack cross bars
-Extended warranty from a Kia dealership

We just bought a ‘25 Sportage Hybrid Prestige last weekend and noticed it’s definately missing 2 items. A Homelink rear view mirror (haven’t had a new car in over 25 yrs without one. It’s always standard) and the rear cargo area retractable cover. Going to add these two.

Yep. My new 2025 Sportage Hybrid SX Prestige also don’t include these 2.

I don’t mind about cargo cover since I never used mine for last car. Just something extra to store in garage when constantly changing configurations folding down the seats.

Just assumed the highest trim (SX Prestige) would include being able to program the garage door remote (Homelink). Disappointed to later learn after car purchase that it’s not part of SX Prestige.

The nice thing about the cargo cover w/these is that it stores underneath the cargo floor, so you always have it with you and its out of the way!

Not sure what you mean. What is underneath cargo floor? Underneath cargo floor is where the spare/jack are located? Or are you saying cargo cover will just sit in cargo space if/when last row seats are folded down.

Can you attach pic when cargo cover is used and when stored underneath cargo floor?

Literally under the cargo floor. There is a foam piece under there on top of the spare tire. The wide end of it is at the back where the interior width is larger, behind the wheel wells. Those indent floor “shelves” pop out, so the cover can fit under there. Try googling for pix.

Just got our aftermarket cargo cover for our ‘25 Sportage Prestige and can confirm it does indeed fit perfectly under the sub floor into the factory wall detents.
Just Pop off L & R cubby hole covers to mount the cover into place then replace covers.
Super happy with the quality, fit and finish of this cover from AMZ. Better than covers I’ve had on prev vehicles. Amazing value at less than 25% the OEM price.

The Kia brand all weather mats are good for the front, but the rear mats are terrible. I replace all of mine with Weather tech.

I had Weather Tech in my old car the Kia replaced so naturally was my 1st choice for new Kia. But WeatherTech did not have free shipping. I ended up getting SmartLiner for less cost. Does the job just as good. I’m happy with the choice.
