2023 Sportage Hybrid - Exhaust leak

I have noticed a puddle of water under the exhaust. When I looked down it appears that the exhaust is leaking smoke and water is dripping from there. Not sure it got rusted and the water is dripping from it. But I see smoke around that area. Did it happen to anyone? Will it be a covered repair or part replacement since the car is less than 1year old?

Don’t know why no one answered this but I hope you found your answer by now. All mufflers have a condensation drain hole. If not they’d accumulate water inside from condensation and rust out quickly. The water drip is normal while the exhaust is heating up and drips more when cold and humid. The black you are seeing is carbon exhaust particles flushing out and sticking. You can just wipe that off or spray it with degreaser and hose it off.
 
Thank you for the response. Do I have to regularly clean it and make sure the hole is not filled with carbon? Or just leave it and don't worry?

I wouldn’t worry about cleaning the stuff off but definately dont want the hole to plug up. You should see drippage there on any cold start in the morning. Clean out the hole with a pick or nail. Check your oil level while you’re at it to be sure you’re not burning any.
