Remote start

Just joined myself. I had a Viper remote start installed. Purchased at Best Buy with free installation. Comes with a key fob, they will also program your existing key fob, and I have the app on my phone. I love it. Price was around $300.
 
If anyone wants to install one on their own vehicles, just let me know, I have access to all factory wiring schematics, through Identifix. I also have installed quite a few of these systems myself and can give you any tips, or diagram info you may need.

We have a 2022 sportage lx.. it didn't come with a remote start but the 2 higher models do come with the remote start. The dealership told my wife that it would be $599 to install it.. I looked up the remote start and it's coming from their parts department through the website for $263 and says it takes an hour for install.. the dealership said that it is a 2.5 hour installation.. is this just a plug and play and do you use the factory keyless fob?

I have a problem with tailgate latch do you have schematics of the latch circuit. If so may I have the link to the diagrams 2013 sportage.
