I'm Dave. I live in Tucson. I've just retired for the most part. I just bought a 2024 Sportage HEV. Next month I'm driving up to Oregon to pick up a teardrop camper. This is the fruition of a plan that's been in the works for quite a while, and I'm excited to get out there. Loving the Sportage - I've only driven it about 700 miles and have averaged 46MPG.

Welcome aboard, Dave! And thank you for signing up. Congratulations on your brand new Sportage! And on retirement. :) What did the Sportage replace for you? I'm glad you found us...

I had a 2007 Chevy HHR. I didn't think much of it when I first got it, but as I got to know it I learned that if I drove carefully I could get nearly 40MPG. But it wasn't supposed to be able to tow anything because it had a manual transmission, and even the automatics had a 750 pound towing capacity.

Oh, those were pretty cool vehicles... Very unique. How does your new Sportage compare?
