Radar Failure in the Rain

Was driving yesterday in a hear rain when the screen came up with a warning and said the radar is not working. A yellow yield sign came up and it showed two cars in a head on crash.
Is this something that happens in a heavy rain?

Yes, it will eventually clear once the weather has and all your functions will come back.
