Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. What do you have in mind in regards to performance add ons?

Sorry so late because I forgot that I even posted something on here until I found it during a Google Search (lol) Well, it's been a long road with my Sportage and now it's in the hands of my 18 year old son which now I'm thinking about waiting until he get his own car before making it any faster than what it is if you know what I mean. So far I have a BOV installed and man does it sound sweet. I might have to put in the YELLOW Spring to see if the random boost leak would stop.
https://www.forgemotorsport.com/Blo...d_Kia_Sportage_and_Optima--product--1005.html I also went the Low Baller route and just bought an Injen nano cone filter
https://www.carid.com/injen/injen-round-tapered-high-performance-air-filter-2056592055.html and I ordered a 6" 3.25 inlet hose to connect the air intake with the cone filter
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CKZB5PQJ?tag=salsbloofnot-20 which I haven't installed yet. I also bought the HKS 45XL spark plugs which I gapped to what Burger Tuning says for the JB4 Tuner which I also purchased and haven't installed yet because I saw on a YT video after the fact that it's best to get the Fuel Wire Adapter
https://burgertuning.com/collections/kia-hyundai-genesis/products/kia-hyundai-plug-play-fuel-wire-adapters?variant=31202042478707 so you won't mess up your stock one. I'm taking a huge $600+ gamble and decided to go on K5 Optima website and ordered the 3" CP-E Downpipe
https://www.k5optimastore.com/products/cpe-bellmouth-downpipe which everyone that I've emailed said that it won't fit for a 2016 KIA Sportage SX but when you look at the KIA parts page, which I don't know which one is legit or not but I've been using this one:
https://parts.kia.com/p/Kia_2016_Sp...OR-SX/ADAPTER-TURBO/121670926/285282G401.html This looks like the same Bellmouth Housing that is on the CP-E Downpipe, not to mention, I even purchased a Maxpeeding Rods turbo+housing which has the same pattern:
https://www.maxpeedingrods.com/prod...ta-ii-2010-2011-2012-2013-2014-2015-2016.html Also, for even more clarification, when you go on the KIA parts page and look up the turbo for the KIA Sportage, you get a list for all the KIAs that it fits:
https://parts.kia.com/p/Kia_2016_Sportage-20L-AT-4WD-4-DOOR-SX/TURBOCHARGER/121421177/282312G410.html Now Common Sense say's "Why would KIA make a turbocharger for all of those models and then make a different turbo adapter for each one"? It just doesn't make any sense!!! Well, CP-E is backed up right now so I'm just patiently waiting to see if I'm correct or not. If all systems are a GO, then I already have an exhaust fabricator that can make me a 3" exhaust system that will connect to the CP-E 3" downpipe. I'm looking to do a wideband O2 for the downpipe (if it fits) and doing a cat delete for the second but I'm going to need some guidance on that decision before I commit.

Wanna go faster? 462 horsepower and 531 pound feet of torque – at the wheels. Yes, that’s what happens when you install a JB4. A few hundred dollars is an amazing deal for such a whopping boost in performance! And it still feels like a stock vehicle when you’re just cruising along.

If looking for a nice performance boost.....the Jb4 piggyback is the way to go. I have a Stinger 2.0t with 350 peak hp with the JB4 plug exhaust, intake and upgraded spark plugs. They make the Jb4 for 2016 Sportage 2.0t and newer. Talk about the ultimate sleeper!
