Welcome aboard, Dave! And thank you for signing up. Congratulations on your brand new Sportage! And on retirement.I'm Dave. I live in Tucson. I've just retired for the most part. I just bought a 2024 Sportage HEV. Next month I'm driving up to Oregon to pick up a teardrop camper. This is the fruition of a plan that's been in the works for quite a while, and I'm excited to get out there. Loving the Sportage - I've only driven it about 700 miles and have averaged 46MPG.
I had a 2007 Chevy HHR. I didn't think much of it when I first got it, but as I got to know it I learned that if I drove carefully I could get nearly 40MPG. But it wasn't supposed to be able to tow anything because it had a manual transmission, and even the automatics had a 750 pound towing capacity. What did the Sportage replace for you? I'm glad you found us...
Oh, those were pretty cool vehicles... Very unique. How does your new Sportage compare?I had a 2007 Chevy HHR.
