We’ve had our ‘25 Sportage Prestige 6 weeks now and it’s been great. One shortcoming was not having wireless CarPlay for our iPhones but I discovered something this am. Untethered the iPhone IS connecting to the car via Bluetooth. Siri answered me through the Stereo without a cable!! So I figured if she can respond via Bluetooth then why can’t she play music. And sure enough, she does so perfectly!! You just don’t have CarPlay Apps. and functionality. We can just use the in-car Nav. So now we can just drop our phones on the wireless Qi charge pad and tell Siri what we want to listen to and she does it!! No cable needed unless we need something in CarPlay like Waze, Weather maps, etc.
((Hope I wasn’t the only one that didn’t realize this)).

That's because it does that using blue tooth, Carplay also needs to use wifi along with blue tooth to function. They have adapters on Amazon to make carplay wireless and they can be had for about 20 bucks or so.
