Acceleration Issue

My son was in a fatal accident with his 2015 Kia Sportage. I was told that he was traveling at 100 mph which is so out of character for my son. There are no skid marks in the road. I have read several accounts where the throttle sticks or the cruise control malfunctions. He went through a stop sign at this speed and T boned an suv. I also read that there have been 8 deaths due to the vehicle malfunctioning. Obviously Kia is aware of this but nothing has been done. Will there be a class suit action?

So sorry to hear of this. Very sad. My condolences to you, family and friends. Regarding the Kia issue I'm not able to help at all.
