Just got my 2025 SX Prestige in Vesta Blue. Loving it so far with a few exceptions. I don’t like the dual climate/radio controls although I guess I can use the steering wheel controls for the radio. Also the touch screen should have some kind of fingerprint protection and the shiny interior parts are ridiculous to keep clean.
Also would prefer if it had self-folding mirrors when the ignition is turned off. So many awesome features it’s too bad they skimped on these. Overall I’m very happy with it. Really enjoying the smooth ride, good acceleration, driver assist features and mpg.

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. I'm glad you found us. Congratulations on your new Kia Sportage SX Prestige! What did the Sportage replace for you?

A 2015 BMW X3 which took premium gas and low mpg. It had a lot of pick up, though, that I thought would be hard to replace but I am very pleased with the ease of getting on the highway and mpg. Lots of great features that I’m still figuring out. Also drove RAV4 and CRV hybrids as well as an X3. Was hesitant at first about buying a Kia but as soon as I drove it I loved it and knew it was the car for me.

Just bought the hybrid SX Prestige. Loving it so far. Don't hate the dual climate / radio controls. Set it to default to climate and just toggle when wanting radio. You are right about the piano black plastic being hard to keep clean. Someone is selling vinyl covers with the buttons and dial cut out for a perfect fit on the center console. I might buy those if I can find them again. Mileage is a little disappointing as we are averaging 31.5 but only have 200 miles on it. Even so my wife found a way to pick up a nail and didn't get the tire warrantee (or any of the warranties the dealer was pushing). I think I read that this car comes with one of two different tires. We have the Goodyears. Would like to hear from someone who has replaced their original dealer tires with something else and if the ride, which is already outstanding, got even better. Never been a Goodyear fan. She also wants running boards (I don't know why). Her old small SUV had them. Any recommendations on which ones look good would be appreciated.

My 2026 Sportage Prestige has the folding/memory side mirrors. Did they just add that now?

I like running boards but adds to the weight and you will get even less MPG. So far in 600 miles, my 2026 SX-Prestige got about 34 MPG when strictly om highway. But when mostly regular street driving, only about 20 to 22 MPG. Front Wheel Drive.

Driving in eco, on both highway (70-75 mph) and back roads, I’m getting the advertised 38+ mpg with 522 miles so far. Which I’m amazed at. Although, I have been playing quite a bit with trying to keep it in EV which may end eventually (similar to stopping parking far away from everyone at the supermarket). 😊

MPG will get even better after 3K+ miles, but will get worse again if/when cold weather hits.

Sounds like you don’t have the hybrid? MPG is opposite - ICE gets better highway mileage, hybrid gets better city mileage.
