After months of looking, wife and I found an EX hybrid awd to replace her 10 yr old Chevy Cruze and only had to pay sticker price for it! Really liked the car but only got to drive it for 9 days when she got rear ended at a traffic light resulting in $15k + damages. We got it back from the body shop yesterday, after 4 weeks, and it looks and drives good. So now comes the negotiations with the other drivers insurance company. Can anyone give me a sense of how to figure diminished value in such a situation? Thanks for any replies and a pleasure to be here. Mickey
