Hello to all. Took delivery of a 2023 Kia Sportage XL Plug-in Prestige, Dawning Red, on May 17, 2023. Came from a 2022 Subaru Outback Touring. Love the Subarus, but wanted to get into a plug-in and the only one Subaru has is the Crosstrek, which has terrible electric only estimate of 17 miles. What got me interested in the plug-ins was my youngest son who bought a 2022 Toyota RAV 4 Plug-in several months ago. I ended up looking at the Kia Sportage and although the electric only estimate is 34 miles (the Toyota RAV 4 Plug-ins are rated at 44 miles electric only), the price difference made me decide on the Kia. So far I like the car very much, but I do have to charge it up every night. After owning it for five days, a tractor trailer flew by me as I was coming up the entrance ramp to the local interstate and threw a stone or rock or whatever into the windshield. Cracked it pretty good and the windshield will be replaced next week. Still in the process of learning about everything on the car, but having most of the electronic items on my past Subarus it isn't too bad or hard. Hope the vehicle will live up to my expectations.

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. Sorry to hear about the rock chip. That's annoying... But I'm glad to hear you're liking the Sportage so far... And I'm glad you found us! :)
