2026 SX Prestige Hybrid, 1.6l Turbo, What is the consensus on oil changes with small turbo engines?

Many mechanics indicate oil changes should occur more often, 3k to 5k miles, due to high temperatures in small engine turbos?

Any consensus on this?

I have the plug in hybrid so the engine runs maybe 50% of the time, so I follow the 8K recommendation in the owner's manual.
 
3,000 to 5,000 was recommended back in the days of Dino oil.

In my 2023 Hybrid, the ICE runs part-time and the 8,000 interval seems overly cautious with the recommended modern full synthetic oil.

My sister has a 2023 Toyota RAV4 with an ICE that runs all the time and her recommended interval is 10,000 miles, also full synthetic oil.

I change at the recommended 8,000 miles with the full synthetic oil.
