Possible transmission problems?? Kia Sportage 2018. Can anyone help please.

About a month and a half ago when we started our Kia Sportage 2018 it went into 4th gear immediately. When we stopped, turned the car off and restarted it corrected. Going into the wrong gear to start happened 2 or 3 times but most of the time starts normally. Any ideas?

Is it reproducible? That is the dealership's first line of defense.
You need to find a a way to make it happen so they have some idea where to start.
Also, check the transmission fluid.
