Trailer Wiring

If you can find out the part #, there are usually Kia dealers that sell online at a decent discount. They should also be able to find it via your VIN #.

I'm scheduled for installation early December for the wiring harness, so if this isn't answered before then I'll try to respond back then with the part #
 
I called both my local dealer and Curt. The dealer told me the harness is now available to order for $283 + Tax. I got the part# (CHF67-AC000) and found it available online from 3 Kia dealers around the US for $205-$210 (presumably plus shipping and tax). Curt knew nothing of the part or whether they will come out with a knockoff.

It’s a pretty darn easy DIY job. I didn’t even bother fishing it out to the bottom of the bumper. I won’t tow that much, so just left the connector curled up under the cargo floor and will lay it out under the bottom hatch seam to the trailer when needed:
